CALL FOR NOMINATIONS - CPF Chapter Board
CPF Parkland Chapter will hold its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, November 30 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. To ensure we adhere to current health guidelines the meeting will be held online. Meeting link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/

OFFICERS:
- President
- Treasurer
DIRECTORS:
- School Representatives (Ecole Broxton Park School, Ecole Meridian Park School, Spruce Grove Composite High School)
Duties for the above noted roles include:
President:
- Presides over all meetings of the Voting Members and the Board of Directors;
- Supervises the affairs of the Chapter;
- Signs all documents requiring their signatures;
- Is ex officio a member of all committees except the Nominating Committee;
- Performs other duties applicable to the office as prescribed by the bylaws and by parliamentary authority adopted by the Chapter.
The President serves a two-year term. This role is estimated to be a four- to six-hour commitment per month.
Treasurer
- Is responsible for the annual budget, financial books and records, and financial statements as required by the bylaws and in accordance with the procedures, rules, and policies adopted by the Board of Directors;
- Makes the books, records, and financial statements available to any Voting member of the Chapter at any time upon giving reasonable notice and arranging a time satisfactory to the treasurer. Each member of the Board of Directors shall at all times have access to such books and records;
- Performs other such duties applicable to the office as prescribed by the bylaws and by the parliamentary authority adopted by the Chapter.
The Treasurer serves a two-year term. This role is estimated to be a four- to six-hour commitment per month.
DIRECTORS:
- School representatives will work with administration and School Councils to generate awareness of CPF Parkland Chapter and the role CPF can play for those enrolled in French Immersion. Additionally, the Directors will work with the Board of Directors to share information with their school community on resources and program offerings available through CPF Alberta and CPF National.
- Directors serve a two-year term. This role is estimated to be a four- to six-hour commitment per month.
