ANNOUNCEMENTS - MONDAY, NOVEMBER 28
- Already, we know what making connections is all about, you might now be questioning what’s next. Hang on, before we move on to Visualizing, we need to have a better understanding of what we are reading to see it in our heads. Last month’s strategy of Making Predictions and pairing it with Making Connections will help you better describe what is going on in the text that you are reading. When you are able to better describe it, with greater details, you will be able to see it in your mind or imagination, and picture it like a movie. If you can convert those words into a picture you see, now that is what we call having fun with reading. Ask anyone the following question: Do you like the book or the movie about the book better? I bet the answer will surprise you.
- French Immersion Student Council meets today in the learning commons at noon.
- Sr. Girls Volleyball wrap up will be TODAY after school. Please bring your washed jerseys to return.
- There is no Girls Basketball today after school. Sr. Girls Basketball practice is tomorrow.
- Sr. Boys Basketball practice today after school, starting in the small gym.
- dancED starts today! STAFF - we have dance practice after school today. Also, a reminder that the large gym and small gym are mostly not available to K-6 classes for the duration of dancED.
