- Literacy tip of the week: Think of reading like a puzzle. Each piece of the puzzle is a different piece of information that is given to you. When putting the puzzle together, you need to use different reading comprehension strategies to make the picture clear. When the picture is getting clearer, you have synthesized by linking or connecting all the information, be it direct information or indirect information, to help build the final picture.
