  1. Wellness tip of the week: This week is mental health awareness week which brings attention to the importance we ought to treat mental health with greater attention. Oftentimes, people have a tendency of treating mental health problems differently than physical or emotional which can have negative affects on our overall well-being. Matt Haig stated that “Mental health problems don’t define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but, importantly, you are not the rain.” Sometimes people feel like they are the problem but that is not true and it is important that we recognize that. To help recognize mental health awareness week, tomorrow, Wednesday, May 3rd, wear a hat of your choice to signify how you support mental health and well-being.
