ANNOUNCEMENTS - WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 2
- Junior High students - it’s not too late to join the Junior High Choir if you are interested! Come talk to Mme iampen for more information. Our next practice is this Thursday.
- The Jr. Boys basketball team plays Copperhaven after school today. Wish them luck if you see them in the hallways.
- Dungeons and Dragons Club for grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 will be meeting today after school from 3:15 to 5:00 in the Learning Commons.
- As you will already know from conversations with your teachers, this month is “Black History Month” and as a school, we will all have the opportunity to learn about and celebrate the contributions and accomplishments of Black people through history. Thank you to those staff who have made this learning visible in our school and to everyone for honouring this time.
- Earth Club meeting at lunch (12:20-12:50 pm) in Mme Krause’s classroom will start NEXT Wednesday. Come and join us next week if you want to be a part of helping the planet and learning to be more environmentally friendly! If you are interested, come and put your name on the sign up sheet on Mme Krause’s classroom door today.
- Sr handbells is cancelled today.
- Grade 5 handbells is cancelled today
- The Senior Girls and Boys basketball teams lost their games last night, but they both fought hard and demonstrated perseverance and sportsmanship. Way to go, Fusion!
