ANNOUNCEMENTS - WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 23

1. Earth Club is cancelled today due to indoor recess. Viewing of the 'Jungles' documentary has been postponed until next week.
   
   
2. Good luck to the Jr. Boys basketball team in their game vs. Prescott today after school. 
3. JUNIOR HIGH CHOIR WORKSHOP is today after school until 5:00 p.m. including pizza dinner.  Bring a water bottle to the workshop!
   
   
4. Senior handbell rehearsal at lunch.
   
   
5. Grade 5 handbell rehearsal after school until 4 p.m.
   
   
6. Dungeons and Dragons Club is canceled today.  It will resume next Wednesday.

In Honour of Black History Month (We recognize the following…)

Corine Ngum Nkwentamo is a proud mother of Sonia and Sage Halle. She is a medical doctor with over 10 years of experience. She completed her medical training at the University of Pretoria, South Africa and worked there a couple of years. Through Medecin Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) Switzerland, she served some local communities in Africa including Niger, Congo, Cameroon. After She moved to Canada, her professional and personal experiences influenced her to pursue a Master degree in Public Health in Epidemiology at the University of Alberta. She also has a computer science background and currently works as IT engineer (Cloud Architect/Engineer). She is part of the Saint Augustine's Anglican Church where she volunteers from time to time. She loves to travel and experience foreign cultures. She looks forward to visiting most provinces in Canada and other countries with her children
